| LED LANTERNS LED lanterns provide
a number of lighting solutions.
Their colour changing capabilities mean that each unit can perform
several functions, from colour washing the walls to providing ambient
light whilst dining, each unit can then be switched to provide more
dramatic effects as the evening progresses.
They provide an excellent background lighting system to which you
can add feature lighting products for real excitement.
Based on low power LED technology, they are ideal for use in marquees
or areas where power is a consideration, and ideal for lowering
the carbon footprint of your event! |

LED WASHLIGHTS
These are designed to wash a large area with colour light. They
feature high-brightness LEDs which draw very little power. Each
unit contains Red, Green and Blue LEDs, allowing any colour to be
generated, and colour-changing effects to be achieved.
Washlights are effective situated up to 20 metres away from the
object they are illuminating. |
| LED WALL This wall of illuminated
panels will add a wow factor to any dancefloor. Reminiscent of 70s
illuminated dancefloors, this feature is a fantastic addition to
any 70s theme party, but is equally at home at many other types
of event. |

CONVENTIONAL LANTERNS
We stock
a wide range of conventional lanterns to suit every application:
Par 38 - Ideal for uplighting
the perimeter rooms and marquees. These lanterns draw only 150w
each meaning that up to 18 units can be safely powered from one
13A socket.
Par 56 - Uses a 300w lamp, making
it brighter than the Par 38 and therefore suited to situations where
there is a lot of ambient light, or where a larger object is to
be illuminated.
Par 64 - Similar to the Par 56,
but can accept a 500w or 1000w lamp, so suited to large venues.
Fresnel - Projects a soft-edged
beam with precise control over the angle. The beam can also be shaped
using a 'barndoor' attachment, which allows very specific areas
to be illuminated.
Profile - Projects a hard-edged,
focused beam of light. Profile lanterns can be used to project shapes
and designs using a metal or glass disc called a Gobo. These can
be custom-made, allowing logos to be projected for example.
All of these lanterns can be fitted with a coloured
gel, and can be floor mounted or hung (please specify when ordering).

UV LANTERNS
UV or Ultra-Violet light sources will enhance a
number of our backdrops and props, the most obvious being in our
Space, Haloween, and Atlantis ranges.
The 400w UV Canon is ideal for large venues, and
is best hung from a truss or mounted on a stand.
For smaller venues the Ribalta fittings are an
ideal UV light source. They are basically flourescent fittings,
in a black metal housing with a reflector for optimum output and
fitted with an ultra-violet tube. These draw very little power and
can be situated on the floor or hung from above. |
| PEA LIGHTS Alongside
the obvious use in Christmas trees, pea lights are ideal for adding
sparkle to palm trees, or any of our other artificial trees in themes
such as Las Vega, Caribbean, Paris, Hollywood etc.
We use Ultra Bright, extra durable Pea Lights,
and stock both tungsten and L.E.D. based strings. |
 |
 |
FESTOON LIGHTING
These strings of lampholders are intended for outdoor
use.
They can be fitted with ordinary coloured lamps
or small clear pygmy lamps for a more sophisticated look. |
| WATER SIMULATION This unit projects
an effect which emulates light being diffracted by water. It is
ideal for enhancing 'watery' or nautical themes (for example, Venetian
and Atlantis). |
|
|
|
FLAMELIGHTS These
are one of our most popular hire items. They use a piece of silk
to safely simulate a flame, and from just a few metres away, they
look entirely convincing.
They are available in three types - a bowl format
either mounted on a 6 foot stem or with chains attached to form
a chandalier, and a giant floor standing version as seen opposite. |
